{Summer Guest Post} City of Dionne

While our lovely Federica is vacationing, I am fortunate enough to meet all of you – her lovely readers. As you know, Federica’s blog is full of eye-candy and things that inspire her, so I thought that I would share with you just a few of the things that inspire me.

Mentre la nostra bella Federica è in vacanza, io ho la fortuna di poter incontrare tutte voi carissime lettrici del suo blog. Come sapete, il blog di Federica è pieno di eye-candy e tutto cio’ che la ispira, per questo ho pensato di condividere con tutte voi alcune delle cose che ispirano me.

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Dionne, and I write over at City of Dionne. Out of all the things that inspire me, the two main ones would have to be Love and Photographs.

Come prima cosa lasciatemi presentare. Sono Dionne ed il mio blog è City of Dionne.

Di tutte le cose che mi ispirano, le più importanti sono due l’Amore e la Fotografia.

Everywhere I go, I bring my trusty camera with me. My husband knows how much I love to visit new and pretty places, so he is constantly taking me to places that he knows I’ll adore. Whether it be a little bistro with vintage fixtures or a quiet farm – my camera is always there to capture it all.

Ovunque vada mi porto sempre la mia fedele fotocamera. Mio marito sa quanto amo visitare nuovi posti carini e così mi porta sempre in luoghi che sa che adorero’. Che si tratti di un piccolo bistrot pieno di attrezzature vintage o che si tratti di una tranquilla fattoria, la mia macchina fotografica è sempre con me pronta a catturare ogni dettaglio.

There is so much beauty to be found in nature and the people around us. When I am with my husband, family and friends – I can’t help but feel blessed and loved, and every last drop of that joy I feel when I am with them inspires me. I guess that’s why I like to cook and bake. I like to prepare meals to eat and enjoy with the people dearest to me.

C’è così tanta bellezza nella natura che ci circonda e nelle persone accanto a noi. Quando sono insieme a mio marito, alla famiglia ed ai miei amici, non posso non sentirmi fortunata ed amata, ed ogni singola goccia di gioia che provo in quei momenti mi ispira moltissimo. Immagino che questo sia uno dei motivi per cui amo cucinare. Mi piace preparare pasti da mangiare e gustare insieme alle persone a me più care.
