Sono davvero stata onorata, nel corso di questo ultimo anno, di aver aiutato Federica con l’organizzazione del suo matrimonio. Ho conosciuto non solo una sposa decisa e con un gusto impeccabile, ma anche una persona dolce, disponibile, piena di talento, una vera e preziosa amica. Sono molto felice di aver potuto contribuire al matrimonio non solo consigliando location o fornitori e controllando preventivi, ma anche realizzando alcune cose con le mie mani, e utilizzando uno dei materiali che amo di più.

I am very honored to have assisted Federica in her wedding planning this past year. I met not only a bride to be with style and impeccable taste, but also a sweet and talented person, a true and precious friend. I am very happy to have helped not only suggesting venues or vendors and checking invoices, but also handmaking some things using one of the materials I love the most.
La ormai Signora padrona di casa di questo blog, come me, ama la carta, la grafica e i dettagli fatti a mano. Per il suo matrimonio, quindi, è stato naturale pensare alla carta come materiale per realizzare alcune decorazioni!
Federica ha scelto delle belle carte da scrapbooking che ho utilizzato per realizzare diverse cosine. Il vantaggio di questa carta è che oltre ad essere disponibile in milioni di varianti, è double face: perfetta per i nostri progetti!

The now Mrs Host of this blog, loves paper, design and handcrafted details, just like me. Therefore, it was natural to incorporate some paper into the decor!
Federica chose some pretty scrapbooking papers that I used to make some cute things. The pro of scrapbooking paper is that it comes in millions of varieties and that it is double sided: perfect for our projects!
I coni per il riso. Sono molto semplici da fare: sono dei quadrati di 15 cm per lato ripiegati a formare un cono. Mi sono divertita a decorare il bordo superiore con una forbice che crea delle ondine. Vi piace?

The rice cones. These are really easy to make: they are some 15×15 cm squares of paper folded in acone shape and glued together. I had fun decorating the upper border with a decorative scissor. Do you like them?
Delle decorazioni per il photobooth. Qui ne vedete una parte: delle catenelle fatte sempre con la stessa carta da scrapbooking, e parecchia colla a caldo!

Ecco invece il progetto che mi piace di più: una ghirlanda di bandierine, piccoli cuori e cerchietti che andrà a decorare un “pezzo forte” del matrimonio. Non è adorabile?

Here is the project I like the most: a bunting made of flags, tiny hearts and small circles that will be used to decorate one important piece of the wedding. Isn’t it adorable?
Quando leggerete questo post Federica e GG saranno ormai marito e moglie e avremo delle foto migliori di questi dettagli e anche di molti altri. Io non vedo l’ora e scommetto anche voi!
