How Blanc’s adventure begun?

In the late 90’s, after university studies, architecture for me and law for my sister, Mary and I entered in our family business (I’m a little younger than my sister and I started a little after, during my studies). Our father produced home linens for the wholesale business sector, an excellent product but it was less tied to a well-defined aesthetic.

We decided to start a project together, Blanc Mariclò, adding furniture, accessories and re-designing the entire linens collection with a more romantic and refined taste.

The inspiration for the Blanc Collections originates in Provencal and Tuscan country style, white and pickled furniture, shabby and chic complements. We begun to travel around the world, especially in the East, looking for commercial partners. Then we opened our first flagship store and the others throughout Italy.

What inspires us is to create warm and cozy homes for people we love. Homes that express love and reflect our attention and passion for the details. For these reasons we design every collection, trying to customize and coordinate every single item.

Tell us a little more about you girls.

We are always full of work but we love it and fortunately we have a great team. We love our family, the countryside and travels. We both live in Florence. Regarding Blanc, Mary follow the linens collections and I follow furniture and accessories compartment.
