Let me tell something more about Barbadians, they are incredibly friendly and they have always a warm welcome for visitors.

Lasciatemi raccontare qualcosina anche sugli abitanti dell’isola, sono persone davvero gentili ed ospitali con i turisti.
It was nice to took a walk around the island and stay with locals.
In Bridgetown, the capital of the island, we slipped in the market trying to take some pics.
It wasn’t easy…sometimes people don’t like to be photographed.

A Bridgetown, la capitale, ci siamo intrufolati nel mercato cercando di mischiarci in mezzo alla gente a scattare qualche foto.
Non sempre è stato facile…molte persone infatti non amavano essere fotografate, ma qualcosa sono riuscita a portare a casa 🙂
You can not imagine how hot was the sun when I took these photos. Bajans seemed to don’t care about it, but GG and I were melting!

Non potete immaginare il caldo che faceva quando ho scattato queste foto…la gente del posto, ormai abituata, sembrava non curarsene, ma noi ci stavamo sciogliendo. E’ l’umidità che ammazza!

All around the island we found many little and colorful houses, even if sometimes they were a little bit “too much shabby”, if you know what I mean…
It was difficult to photograph all of them. Why?
Because on the street, it’s not always easy to find a sidewalk and especially a place where you can leave your car. This means that, if I wanted to take a pic we had to stop the entire traffic!

In giro casette dai mille colori, troppo carine anche se spesso un po’ malmesse.
Purtroppo non sono riuscita a fotografarne tantissime, o meglio non tanto quanto avrei voluto. Sapete perchè?
Perchè per la strada quasi non esiste un marciapiede e sopratutto un posto dove lasciare la macchina! Più di una volta mi sarei voluta fermare a scattare qualche foto, ma la strada è stretta e senza un posto dove accostare avrei dovuto fermare il traffico!
